My last photo of the day....
it’s evening and the light is fading fast. I thought you
might like something peaceful and quiet.
This time of the year Barb and
I get ready for the needlework market in Nashville.
We release new patterns and have an opportunity to meet
with shop owners and other designers. (If you are coming to
market, our room number is 613. We stay in the same room every
year....easier for us to remember.)
At market we will be releasing
a cross-stitch book and two new patterns in the “Remember
Me” series. The titles for the two new patterns are
“I Thee Wed” and “Mildred’s
Garden House.”
The book is titled Thank You Sarah Tobias
and includes cross stitch patterns
and the original antique sampler by Sarah Tobias. We recruited
our friends to design samplers influenced by the motifs on
Sarah’s sampler. We hope these designs will encourage you
to design a sampler of your own or to stitch one of the
patterns provided!
Look for these titles in your
local cross stitch shop in the second week of Feb.
Have you started some of the
applique heart blocks? The previous update provided a pattern
for a small quilt. Don’t forget to send pictures next
